I decided that the tone of this here bloggy blog has been a bit brooding of late. And if it's ever going to get back to a peppy place I need to start writing about less depressing stuff. You know like the economy and how it's completely in the toilet.
Hey you should know by now my sense of humor is twisted.
Seriously though. I've become a little more active about saving money as of late. My mom was a coupon clipper but I never thought much about it until recently. It all started with a blog post on iambossy about how a teaspoon of HE laundry detergent is equivalent to a full cup of regular laundry detergent. She sites one woman who bought an $11 box of detergent OVER a year ago and is still using it. This was HUGE for me! But I was a little bit skeptical about it. 1 teaspoon are you kidding me?! So recently I decided to give it a try but instead of using a teaspoon I upped it to a tablespoon. I washed a full load of laundry and it came out smelling like I had used a full cup of my regular detergent! HOLY LAUNDRY BATMAN!
Needless to say I'm sold, and I kind of like not having to worry about laundry detergent for quite awhile. Now if I could just find the patience for coupons...

I'll give up my liquid ALL when you pry it from my cold, dead hands. Or something like that.
Do they have an unscented version? My boys (husband and baby) have VERY sensitive skin.
Actually ALL does make the HE version of their Free & Clear.
Buy the liquid version but just use a tablespoon of it. I swear it really works!
