Everyone does it so I figure why not. In celebration of my 100th post..here are 100 completely random facts about me. Some scary, some funny, and some may be a little TMI but hey.. your reading it so you must want to know..
1. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, and find line 4. "They ended up losing those wars anyway, and all that was left was a deadly inflation..."
2. What is the last thing you watched on TV? High Fidelity...One of my favorite movies of all time.
3. When did you last step outside? What were you doing? A few hours ago..(it's friggin hot) and I was bringing the clothes in off the clothesline
4. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? A villa in Italy
5. If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy? That list is far far too long but the first couple of things I would buy would be a good attorney and an accountant. Next up a trailer to carry the few mementos I don't want to leave behind when we roll the eff out of dodge.
6. Tell me something about you that most people don't know. I was a phone sex operator for almost 2 years. and damn good at it.
7. Type of music you like most? That's like asking a woman with more than one child which one she loves the most. I love many types of music and I love them differently but with equal intensity.
8. Type of music you dislike most? Modern Country, Disney Pop, Tiger Beat Pop, I'm also not a big fan of reggaeton (sorry Luna!)
9. Are you listening to music right now? There is always something playing in my head or on my player of choice.
10. If you could change something about your home, without worry about expense or mess, what would you do? I would own it outright.
11. What was the last thing you bought? a marble composition book.. I have millions of them.
12. Would you go bungee jumping or sky diving? Uh hell-to-the-NO.
13. Do you have a garden? In my dreams... I want one so badly, but I can't seem to find the time. Mark my words I will someday.
14. Do you really know all the words to your national anthem? hold on (humming song) yes! yes I do.
15. What is the first thing you think of when you wake up in the morning? typically "I've got so much shit to do..."
16. How many tattoos do you have? 5
17. Do you carry a donor card? Yes I do and anyone who doesn't honor my wishes will be haunted from the grave.
18. Is the glass half empty or half full? Depends on the day but usually it's half full.
19. What's the farthest-away place you've been? Canada eh.
20. When's the last time you ate a homegrown tomato? Yesterday at the shop... we use local produce on our sandwiches (and I'm damn proud of it).
21. Are you a good cook? I'd like to think so.
22. Do you know how to pump your own gas? Uh yes, and change a tire, and diagnose most problems with my vehicle. (every woman should know as much as possible about cars. The less we can depend on the "kindness of strangers" the better)

24. What is the last movie that you saw at the cinema? Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - God was it disappointing.
25. What do you do most when you are bored? search the Internet for random historic facts
26. What do you do for a living? Coffeehouse Manager / Voice Work
27. Do you love your job? I derive a lot of enjoyment from the Coffeehouse and I love deeply my voice work.
28. What did you want to be when you grew up? A writer or photographer
29. If you could have any job, what would you want to do/be? a coffeehouse/record store/small club owner or a radio personality on NPR or a writer.
30. Where would you retire to? the world... I'd want to travel just about every inch of it.
31. What is your favorite time of the day? Sunset during an Indian summer.
32. Where did you grow up? I really small community named Currituck.
33. What are you reading now? Howard Zinn's "A People's History of the United States"
34. Are you a morning person or a night owl? Night Owl
35. How many rings before you answer the phone? ha ha if I had it my way I'd never answer it these days.
36. What is your best childhood memory? Summers on the Sound with my family.
37. What are some of the different jobs that you have had in your life? Bartender, Party Store Gal (balloon sculptures...party planning), Phone Sex Operator, Radio DJ
38. What is most important in life? my daughter, and being true to myself
39. What Inspires You? Quite honestly everything.
40. What were you doing 10 years ago? I was 21 and living on the outer banks going nowhere really, but doing what most 21 year olds do. Working and Partying. Going to shows and writing A-LOT.
41. Name 3 of your bad habits. I take things way too seriously sometimes, I'm a terrible procrastinator, and I pick at my skin when I'm bored.

43. What is the story behind your blog name? In a nutshell it's a lyric from my favorite song. For a more long winded explanation see this.

45. What is your favorite curse word? Fuck in all it's varieties. "fuckin hell, god fuckin dammit" you get the idea.
46. When was the last time you consumed alcohol? Immediately after completing this questionnaire jebus this is difficult and time consuming.
48. Where were you at 8:00 this morning? Work.
49. Who hugged you last? My daughter
